
Established in India in 1945, Mahindra & Mahindra Limited (M&M) entered the Indian automotive industry by assembling CKG Jeeps in 1949. Agricultural tractors and light commercial vehicles were later on added to the product line of M&M. Thereafter, it started manufacturing Utility Vehicles (UV) and Sports Utility Vehicles (SUV). After creating a niche for itself in the industry, Mahindra & Mahindra Limited stepped into the passenger car segment of the market, by introducing its mid-size sedan ‘Logan’, in 2005. The company entered the highly competitive two-wheeler segment of the Indian market, with the launch of the very stylish scooter ‘Flyte’, in early 2009 and rolled out two bikes - ‘Mojo’ and ‘Stallio’, in October 2010.
Mahindra Flyte, a 125cc scooter, was fairly accepted by the Indian youth, who are its prospective buyers. Thereafter, the automaker rolled out scooters - ‘Duro’ and ‘Rodeo’. Mahindra Duro boasts of having the largest fuel tank capacity in its class, while Rodeo flaunts its stylish looks. The motorcycles of Mahindra & Mahindra Limited are power-packed with robust engine. The bikes including Mahindra Mojo and Mahindra Stallio, which have gained popularity in the Indian market, flaunt stylish design. Other bikes in the product line of the company are Stallio KS, Cevalo, and Diablo.
